A visual presentation can help a customer discuss countertop shape, material, and edge choices before approving a quote. It is a communication aid, not a replacement for physical templating or fabrication drawings.
Start with reviewed takeoff dimensions, then compare material options and the proposed countertop arrangement. Ask the customer to confirm the overall scope and note changes in a revised quote. Discuss seams, overhangs, and grain or vein direction explicitly; an image alone cannot resolve all placement decisions.
Color and pattern can differ from a real slab, and a rendered layout does not guarantee slab yield or show every on-site constraint. Have an estimator check the source drawing and an installer confirm field conditions. Verify any required export or CNC/CAM handoff in a product demonstration rather than assuming the visualization provides machine-ready files.
